The Challenge
One of our industrial customers, a chemical plant in Pasadena, TX, reached out with a critical need for a transformer to keep a project going. A transformer was down, the business halted, and our customer needed a power solution quickly to avoid costly delays. This emergency situation occurred after hours as the weekend was setting in, creating additional stress for our customer as timely weekday resources were not as readily available.
The Approach
Our team is uniquely qualified to meet all our customers’ needs, end to end, 24/7. We immediately hopped on a call with our customer and went over what was happening to determine how we could help. From this conversation, we were able to propose both a rental option and a more permanent solution with a new stock transformer that was ready to ship. Transformer purchases can be a lengthy process, so we wanted to ensure that our customer felt supported with both options to take the pressure off in an already stressful situation.
The Result
We happily provided our customer with a turnkey solution. Our customer opted for the permanent solution, which was a replacement transformer. We handled all the logistics around this transaction, which included providing field service expertise for installation and onsite testing to ensure everything was running properly. We are also working with our customer on the removal of the older transformer as we specialize in recycling and safely disposing end-of-life electrical distribution equipment.
