Substation Transformer & Power Lines

1971

Solomon Corporation was formed to provide electrical transformer products and repair services in Solomon, Kansas – where Interstate 70 allowed for easy access to Kansas and neighboring states. Solomon started by repairing, remanufacturing, recycling, and selling small pole and padmount transformers.

1980

Solomon added Regulator & Recloser sales and services to its product offerings.

1981

Sunbelt Transformer was formed in Temple, Texas primarily selling reconditioned distribution transformers.

1987

INC. Magazine named Sunbelt Transformer among its INC. 500, which recognized 500 of the fastest growing companies in America.

1990

Sunbelt Transformer opened its Sharon, PA facility and for a brief period, manufactured new transformers.

2000

Sunbelt Transformer stopped transformer manufacturing, and focused exclusively on providing sustainable power services and solutions.

2019

Solomon Corporation and Sunbelt Transformer merged to create Sunbelt Solomon.

2022

Sunbelt Solomon acquires Trinity Power Rentals.

Our established methods for evaluating REMAN candidates, and then remanufacturing the product, ensures that you will have a sustainable solution that delivers long-term results. We firmly stand behind the quality of our products. Each REMAN product must pass final electrical testing designed to meet or exceed the standards set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the original manufacturer.
