The Benefits of Renting Equipment From Sunbelt Solomon

Guaranteed Uptime: One of the benefits of renting electrical equipment from Sunbelt Solomon is the guarantee that your business stays up and running. While a new piece of equipment may lead to unwanted downtime while you wait for installation or repair, renting ensures that you continue all of your daily functions as normal.

Modularity: Modularity is at the heart of our rental strategy. With a robust staff of sales application engineers and a large inventory of low, medium, and high voltage transformers and switchgear at our disposal, we have the equipment and expertise to help you complete projects from simple to complex.

CapEx Spend v. OpEx Spend: A major benefit of renting over buying is that renting only contributes to your operating expenses. When you buy a new piece of equipment, it represents a long-term investment that may end up costing you more money over time. When renting electrical equipment, you only pay for its day-to-day expenses.

Pick Up and Delivery Logistics: With teams and inventory conveniently located all across the country, Sunbelt Solomon is capable of picking up and delivering any piece of equipment you may need. Our professional team will ensure that the process is seamless and worry-free so that you can focus on effectively running your business.

Short or Long-Term Options: In addition to short-term emergency help, renting with Sunbelt Solomon can also fill in for long-term business needs. This way, your business can still get the lasting support you need from one of our parts, without having to commit to any purchases.

No Long-Term Commitment: Buying a new piece of equipment can not only cost you a fortune, but you can end up stuck with it for years to come. With rental, you can get the parts you need for as long as you want them, with no pressure or commitment.

24/7 Emergency Service: One of the benefits of renting from Sunbelt Solomon is that our team is capable of providing 24/7 service. In times of emergency or outage, you need a new piece of equipment immediately. Sunbelt Solomon can provide the parts you need at any time of day while your existing equipment is being serviced or replaced.

Our Process for Renting

Step 1: Contact Our Office

Sunbelt Solomon is proud to offer rental solutions whenever, wherever you need us with 24/7 service.

With our national network of service centers, we can be at your site within a day to install any piece of electrical equipment that you need to stay fully operational.

Step 2. Build Your Custom Rental

We offer more than just transformers for rental. We have a vast inventory of equipment available for customers, with the capability to provide custom-designed solutions to fit your rental needs. Just contact our department and we’ll work with you to provide the best possible solution.

Step 3. Logistics and Support

When faced with projects that are temporary in nature, a question that often comes up is: Should we rent or Should we buy? There are many factors involved in making an informed decision, such as:

  1. What is the duration of the project?
  2. What source of funding will be available for my project – Op Ex vs. Cap Ex?
  3. Is there a desire to have a spare or implement a level of redundancy after my temporary project?

For projects that are in excess of 12 – 18 months, it is most often more cost-effective to purchase. However, consideration should be given to what will become of the equipment when the project is over? We do offer buy-back programs for certain types of equipment, so this is always something that can be discussed at any time during your project.

Our Reach is Continental. Our Service is Personal.

With over 100 years of combined experience, Sunbelt Solomon has a history of providing a variety of different short and long-term rental solutions for a variety of different applications. Each piece of equipment is rigorously tested by professionally trained experts, ensuring that every part you need is equipped to solve each of the unique challenges facing your business.

From our national service center network, we can provide same-day shipment and pick-up of equipment 24/7/365, with coverage over nights and weekends for your critical emergencies.
