Sunbelt Solomon Announces Acquisition of Jordan Transformer

Addition of Dedicated Power Transformer Remanufacturing and Testing Capabilities Extends Sunbelt Solomon’s Complete Lifecycle Power Platform

SOLOMON, KS, October 20, 2026 – Sunbelt Solomon Services (“Sunbelt Solomon”), a leading provider of Complete Lifecycle Power Solutions, today announced the acquisition of Jordan Transformer, LLC (“Jordan Transformer”), a Jordan, Minnesota-based specialist in power transformer remanufacturing, rewinding and testing.

The acquisition represents a significant expansion of Sunbelt Solomon’s transformer remanufacturing platform, adding the ability to wind power transformers up to 230 kV, along with IEEE Class 2 testing capabilities. Founded in 1973, Jordan Transformer brings more than five decades of experience redesigning, rewinding and remanufacturing substation power transformers, with in-house engineering, winding and testing expertise. Its facility provides additional capacity today with room to grow as customer demand increases.

The expanded capabilities respond directly to needs voiced by Sunbelt Solomon customers, including utilities, data center operators, and commercial and industrial customers managing growing power requirements, aging infrastructure and long lead times for critical electrical equipment. By extending repair and remanufacturing capabilities into larger power transformers, the combined organization can help customers return critical assets to service while extending equipment life.

“Jordan Transformer has spent five decades doing one thing exceptionally well: bringing power transformers back into service to IEEE standards, faster than a new unit can be built,” said Gus Cedeño, Chief Executive Officer of Sunbelt Solomon. “Their engineering depth in large substation transformers and mobile substations is a natural extension of our complete lifecycle platform. Our customers are asking for more capacity to rewind and remanufacture their largest and most critical assets, and we are pleased to welcome the Jordan Transformer team to Sunbelt Solomon as we answer that need.”

Jordan also brings expertise in repairing and remanufacturing mobile substations, complementing its power transformer capabilities. This further expands Sunbelt Solomon’s ability to meet customers’ equipment needs while supporting the growth of its Temporary Power Services fleet.

Sunbelt Solomon plans to invest in and grow the Jordan, Minnesota operation as demand for larger transformers continues to increase. Building on Jordan’s facility and available capacity for future growth, the company expects to triple the number of team members at the location through 2027, supporting continued investment in the people and capabilities needed to serve customers.

The acquisition further advances Sunbelt Solomon’s Complete Lifecycle Power Solutions strategy by adding deeper power transformer repair, remanufacturing and testing capabilities to its existing portfolio of engineering and automation, technical field services, temporary power solutions, new and remanufactured electrical equipment, and lifecycle asset management.

Jordan Transformer will continue operating from its Jordan, Minnesota facility, and its engineering and production teams will join Sunbelt Solomon.
