Facility represents a multimillion-dollar investment and creates more employment opportunities in the Southeastern Region
New center supports state’s infrastructure by offering expedited transformer repair and recycling, field services and equipment rentals
October 23, 2023 – ELBA, Alabama – Sunbelt Solomon Services (“Sunbelt Solomon” or “SSS” or “The Company”), a leading provider of customized and sustainable electrical power solutions and services, today announced the official opening of a 23,000-square-foot service center in Elba, Alabama, marking another milestone in the Company’s multi-year growth strategy.
The new facility is Sunbelt Solomon’s 17th North American location and first in Alabama. Located at 2450 Industrial Blvd, the service center employs 50 people and offers transformer repair and recycling, field services and equipment rentals. It will be a hub for Sunbelt Solomon’s new Fastrack expedited repair service. There are also plans to expand this operation by adding 50 new positions in 2024.
The greenfield facility builds upon Sunbelt Solomon’s existing operations in the state, following its March 2023 acquisition of Holland Industrial Services in Bay Minette. The acquisition enhanced Sunbelt Solomon’s service offerings and ability to provide cutting-edge power solutions to the Company’s utility, renewable, oil and gas, commercial, and industrial customers.

This fall, customers and community members were invited to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony with Sunbelt Solomon’s team. In attendance alongside Cedeño were distinguished guests including Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, Elba Mayor Tom Maddox and various other state and local dignitaries.
